## At a Glance
Diminutive halfling with a wiry, athletic build and intense, focused eyes that rarely blink. Simple, practical clothing that allows complete freedom of movement. Carries minimal possessions beyond her weapons and a small pouch. Speaks rarely. Hits impossibly hard for her size.
Willow's entire existence is a lesson in underestimation. She looks like the least threatening person in any room. She killed a beholder crime lord with a sling stone. She knocked a two-headed Demon Prince unconscious. She dispatched a rakshasa servant of [[Asmodeus]]. The party learned early to stop questioning her methods and start being grateful she was on their side.
## Personality
Nearly mute, obsessively dedicated to her mission, and possessed of a quiet pragmatism that cuts through chaos. Willow doesn't debate, scheme, or grandstand. She identifies the problem, finds the solution, and executes — often literally. Her advice about the holy water at the [[City of the Dead]] was delivered with the same understated certainty she applied to everything: she knew the answer, said it once, and waited for everyone else to catch up. Her frustration with [[Lina]] over the hammer guardianship, her matter-of-fact survival of being carried as a statue in a bag of holding next to an apocalyptic weapon, and her willingness to follow the party through a portal into the [[Abyss]] all point to the same core trait: Willow does what needs doing and doesn't waste words on it.

## Background
**Hlam's Mission:** Sent by the wise monk [[Hlam]] of the [[Order of the Gauntlet]] to protect [[McMickey]]'s magical silvered warhammer. Willow attached herself to whoever possessed the hammer with obsessive dedication, transitioning from [[Lina]] to [[Reg]] and back. [[Mya]] also secretly hired her to provide security for the party — a fact Willow was apparently unaware of. She was the daughter of [[Blossom Snobeedle]], [[Mya]]'s dear family friend and fellow [[Emerald Enclave]] member.
**The Infernal Portal:** At the [[City of the Dead]], Willow correctly urged the party to pour holy water on a stone slab to close an active infernal portal — a crucial piece of practical advice delivered with characteristic economy.
**Turned to Stone:** [[Marlos Urnrayle]] revealed his true nature as a medusa and petrified Willow with his gaze. Her companions placed her petrified form in a bag of holding alongside a devastation orb — a storage solution that was practical if somewhat alarming. [[Mirt]] promised to restore her, and she was eventually cured.
**Giant Killer:** After restoration, Willow developed an improbable talent for taking down enemies vastly above her weight class. She delivered the killing blow to the [[Xanathar]], the beholder crime lord, using nothing but a simple sling attack. She brutally killed [[Ame Hugo]], a rakshasa servant of [[Asmodeus]] who had been tormenting the party and the [[House Cassalanter]] family. And during the apocalyptic Battle of [[Waterdeep]], when [[Graz'zt]]'s [[Demon Lords]] invaded the Material Plane, Willow knocked the [[Demogorgon]] unconscious — a feat that defies explanation by any normal measure of combat ability.
**Force Grey:** Survived a devastation orb strike on [[Trollskull Manor]], followed the party through an active portal into the [[Abyss]], and ultimately formalized her status as one of [[Waterdeep]]'s greatest defenders by enlisting in [[Force Grey]] under [[Baldric]]'s leadership.
