Evelyn de Tylmarande, known as "Lynne" to friends (and everyone else, because formality is for people with sticks up their asses), somehow manages to be both a devoted servant of [[Tyr]] and a walking HR nightmare. Blessed with legendary parentage—her mother [[Aribeth de Tylmarande]] is "The Silverhand" and her father [[Bussy]] is a Hero of [[Waterdeep]]—she's been shuffled between increasingly remote postings for her "philosophical differences" with authority. Currently stationed at [[Yartar]]'s temple (basically the Order's equivalent of Siberia), she continues to be the best paladin they have while simultaneously driving her commanders to drink. I am so jazzed to join y’all.  Raised by Aribeth de Tylmarande for the first 5 years, before she dropped me off with my Dad Bussy. Bussy was actually a pretty good Dad, but obviously did not instill significant… work ethic…  Because of barely hidden abandonment issues, I decided to join the Temple of Tyr as a Paladin at 18, and was easily accepted because Mom’s a BFG. I was at the temple for about 2 years, did my training and some initial missions before getting transferred to Neverwinter. Me and the commander had… philosophical differences. He had a stick up his ass, I didn’t. Anyway. Neverwinter was going great, I was the best Paladin they had, but the commander THERE kept harping on and on about the “rules” and how I was a disgrace to the order and my name. Fuck him. So they transferred me to Yartar about a year ago. It’s basically the worst temple in all of faerun (world?). They’re ok, but seriously awful at their jobs, while STILL being a bunch of ninnies. I’m over it and mom still hasn’t called. OH, I also found out that all those cool mana swirls that only I can see are actually because I’m a sorcerer! But I didn’t tell the order because that wouldn’t go over well. I’m already weird enough for them.  Temple rumor is that Mom is off on some super important mission dealing with Giants, but I haven’t been able to figure anything else out. %%
