![[CinderNewPic.png]] # Cinder _Drake Companion | [[Eldraki]]_ ## Summary A small but supremely arrogant red drake who serves as [[Eldraki]]'s bonded companion. Hatched from a magical egg gifted by the ancient red dragon [[Klauth]], Cinder immediately developed delusions of grandeur befitting his legendary origin. Despite his diminutive size compared to true dragons, he carries himself with the grandiose bearing of an ancient wyrm, constantly preening his resplendent red scales and spreading his wings for dramatic effect. His defining moment came aboard the [[Grand Dame]] when he boldly challenged the adult blue dragon [[Chezzaran]], declaring himself "Cinder the Unmatched" before being completely obliterated by lightning breath. Thanks to [[Eldraki]]'s Drake Warden abilities, he was resummoned. Now driven by burning hatred for all blue dragons, he sees his "resurrection" as proof of his destiny to destroy blue dragonkind. [[Eldraki]] later delivered the killing blow to [[Chezzaran]], and the two shared the dragon's heart in celebration. %% ## At a Glance Resplendent red scales with blackened edges that shimmer like molten lava, imposing horns crowning his head, expansive wings he spreads dramatically at every opportunity. Eyes burn with particular fury when spotting anything blue. Speaks in grandiose, theatrical tones; HISSES violently at anything blue. Has declared himself "Cinder the Unmatched, Bane of Blue Dragons" and harbors intense hatred for all blue dragonkind. Refuses to acknowledge he was actually killed by [[Chezzaran]]—insists he "strategically withdrew to the celestial realm." Keeps an ever-growing list of blue dragons he plans to destroy. ## Personality Supremely overconfident, dramatically vengeful, absolutely loyal to [[Eldraki]]. Gets +2 to attack rolls vs blue dragons but -2 to Wisdom saves when they're present. Becomes even MORE dramatic when reminded of his death. ## Quote _"Behold, inferior creatures!
