# Dreyvarg Drazhan
_Human Barbarian Chieftain | [[Tribe of the Elk]] | [[Northern Tribes Territory]]_
## Summary
[[Eldraki]]'s sister. Raised as "Hertha" among the [[Tribe of the Elk]] after the shaman [[Ingrid Whitebear]] spirited her away from [[Isarr Kronenstrom]]'s coup — the same night their parents were murdered and infant [[Eldraki]] was saved by [[Klauth]]. She recently discovered her true name and her identity as the "Red Wolf" of prophecy, and now leads the [[Tribe of the Elk]] after her uncle [[Jarund Elkhardt]] fell against [[Isarr Kronenstrom]].
%%
## Now
Beheaded [[Isarr Kronenstrom]] at the northern battle and woke a werewolf from his bite — a curse she does not want, breakable only by 8th-level [[Greater Restoration]] or [[Wish]] because Isarr was a Chosen of [[Malar]]. She has begun to bond with [[Eldraki]] as a sibling and decided to rejoin the fight. Tradition bars her from ruling the [[Tribe of the Wolf]].
## Appearance
Towering warrior with fierce red hair braided with bone beads, ice-blue eyes. Elk-antler headdress, wolf pelts over leather armor, intricate blue tattoos; she carries a greataxe like it weighs nothing.
## Personality
A natural leader with a fierce temper — decisive and bold, but struggles with patience. She gestures broadly when passionate and unconsciously touches her weapons.
## Quote
_"They call me Hertha, but my father named me Dreyvarg — Crimson Wolf. The North burns. I'll remind them why they once feared the Tribe of the Wolf."_
## Connections
**[[Eldraki]]** — brother; the Red Dragon to her Red Wolf.
**[[Isarr Kronenstrom]]** — murdered their parents; the prophecy's prey and her enemy.
**[[Ingrid Whitebear]]** — shaman who saved her as an infant and raised her.
**[[Jarund Elkhardt]]** — uncle who led the [[Tribe of the Elk]] until he fell against Isarr.
**[[Var]]** — spirit wolf companion, bound to her since her coming-of-age.
## Background
**The Coup:** Born to King [[Ulf Drazhan]] and Queen [[Yrsa Drazhan]] of the [[Tribe of the Wolf]]. [[Isarr Kronenstrom]] murdered both parents; [[Ingrid Whitebear]] fled with young Dreyvarg to the [[Tribe of the Elk]], her mother's people.
**The Prophecy:** _"When winter's grip seems endless dire, Red Wolf and Red Dragon rise with fire. One touched by elk, one marked by scale, together they'll lift winter's veil. The beast that death could not contain, by blood united, shall be slain."_ At her coming-of-age ritual a massive red wolf appeared in place of an elk spirit and spoke her true name; her spirit wolf [[Var]] found her soon after. She is the Red Wolf; [[Eldraki]] is the other half.
