# Durnik Darksteel
_Dwarf Enforcer | [[Gilded Gallows]]_
## Summary
One of the [[Gilded Gallows]]' most feared enforcers, a former blood pit champion known for his signature "Darksteel's Dilemma" — forcing victims into rigged gambling games before killing them. He worked for [[Khaspere Drylund]] aboard the [[Grand Dame]] and interrupted [[Decima Iscitarn]]'s interrogation of [[Reese]], outraged to find a prisoner aboard. He launched an assassination attempt on [[Angel Lock]] during the [[Crimson Siege]] alongside the [[Velvetshadow Twins]]. Offered surrender, he declared he feared [[Jareth Giltgrave]] more than death. [[Eldraki]] killed him.
