He led them to [[Tser Pool]] and afterward interpreted Eva's Tarokka reading into real intel. He grew devoted to the seer girl [[Arabelle]], who named him her "future husband," and to a jealous clockwork toy called New Fabio. [[Madam Eva]] believed he and Arabelle were destined to lead the Vistani out of the darkness. He died at [[Castle Ravenloft]], burned down by animated red dragons during the party's assault, dreaming of Arabelle — who later promised to raise him. %% ## Now _Killed in the Great Entry of Castle Ravenloft; Arabelle vowed to bring him back from the dead._ ## Appearance A Vistani boy in bright, colorful clothes, quick to attach himself and quicker to talk. ## Personality Eager, dramatic, and self-appointed as the party's guide. He warned them they'd be "dooooooomed" without his help and insisted he was never scared. He loved Arabelle and the toy New Fabio, sometimes above the party's safety. ## Connections **[[Arabelle]]** — his love; the Vistani girl he was prophesied to lead his people alongside. **[[Madam Eva]]** — the seer he served as go-between; she named him a savior of the Vistani. ## Background **The Guide:** Ludovic steered the party to Madam Eva and interpreted her reading, giving up the locations of the artifacts and allies they needed against [[Strahd von Zarovich]]. **Arabelle:** After the party rescued Arabelle from [[Bluto Krogarov|Bluto]] at [[Lake Zarovich]], she claimed Ludovic as her future husband. When Strahd took her to [[Castle Ravenloft]], Ludovic resolved to storm the castle for her. **Death:** He fell in the Great Entry, killed by dragon-fire in the party's assault on Ravenloft.
