She traveled Barovia disguised as a harmless old woman selling pies — the addictive Dream Pastries she took children in trade for. The party first met her selling pies in Barovia, exposed and fought the coven at the windmill and drove her off, then ambushed the hags in [[Krezk]], where Char killed her. %% ## Now Dead — cut down when the party ambushed her coven in Krezk. ## Appearance A bent, grandmotherly pie-seller with a basket and a warm smile. Her true form is a green-skinned night hag, all warts and yellowed teeth. ## Personality Genial and grandmotherly in disguise, cruel and greedy beneath it. Trades in addiction and stolen children and enjoys the bargaining. Retreats when a fight turns against her rather than dying for it. ## Quote _"Pies! Fresh pies for the little ones!"_ ## Connections **[[Offalia Wormwiggle]]** — daughter; coven member. **[[Bella Sunbane]]** — daughter; coven member. ## Background **Dream Pastries:** Her pastries are laced to enslave; Barovian parents traded their own children for them, including [[Freek]] and [[Myrtle]], whom the party freed. **The windmill:** At the [[Old Bonegrinder]] she offered pies and pushed [[Offalia Wormwiggle]] on Fabio as a bride. Willem's magic revealed the three as hags, and the party drove Morgantha off. **Killed in Krezk:** When the daughters' disguises failed in Krezk, the party ambushed the coven and Char killed Morgantha. Her daughters escaped and later took revenge. %%
