When [[Halaster Blackcloak]] broke contact with his apprentices, Muiral descended into madness and grafted his human torso onto a giant scorpion's body. Now a powerful monstrosity who hunts adventurers for [[Halaster Blackcloak]], he retained magical knowledge to cast 7th level spells. The party convinced him to spare them by offering help with his "drow problem" and promising to deliver [[Windvane]], but ultimately killed him when he became hostile.
