!NefarionGrimweaverPathfinder.webp # Nefarion _Nothic Spirit | Tombkeepers | Within Petra's Mind_ ## Summary Once a brilliant wizard serving as a Tombkeeper under Acererak, transformed into a paranoid Nothic after stealing the Tome of Unlife. Killed by Petra in Phandalin, his consciousness was trapped in her mind through her Soulmonger abilities. He now provides cryptic necromantic knowledge while his paranoia challenges her mental fortitude. %% ## Now Trapped as a voice inside Petra's mind, offering cryptic necromantic knowledge while hoarding secrets and straining her sanity. ## Appearance Spectral form mirroring his twisted Nothic body — hunched, with sickly grey scaled skin and a single large glowing green eye. ## Personality Calculating, morbidly curious, and deeply paranoid. His fractured mind is consumed by an obsessive need to guard dark secrets, and he may withhold information out of paranoia. Speaks in a raspy whisper laced with riddles. ## Quote _"Secrets whisper in the shadows, but beware the price of listening too closely."_ ## Connections **Petra** — killed him; now hosts his trapped consciousness. **Acererak** — served him as a Tombkeeper. ## Background **The Theft:** He stole the Tome of Unlife from Acererak and got its lock open — the only being known to have managed it — then failed the Rite of Binding that follows. The book found him unworthy, took his mind, and left the body walking. It did not take his soul; Acererak does not keep what he discards. **What he knows:** he is the only one who has ever opened a copy, and he has been offering Petra his secrets since the night they met. **The Trapping:** Petra killed him in Phandalin, but her Soulmonger abilities caught his consciousness and bound it inside her mind. %%
