She betrayed him, bound him as her first skull, and absorbed a thousand years of [[Orcus]] worship — expanding her collection to seven skulls over decades. **The Fall:** She grew close to [[Valindra Shadowmantle]] and meant to make her the eighth skull, then fell in love instead. Valindra discovered the plan, sacrificed her to fuel her own lichdom, and claimed the seven skulls. Narfelli magic preserved a fragment of Tashara's consciousness in her spellbook. **The Revenge:** Centuries later she found [[Nathaly Kormallis]] — a guilt-ridden young [[Soulmonger]] — and worked her by promising to resurrect [[Rosalyn Kormallis|Rosalyn]]. She used [[Nathaly Kormallis|Nathaly]] to infiltrate Valindra's [[Red Wizards]]. At the [[Dread Ring]] she seized full control, revealed herself to Valindra, killed her, and teleported to [[Old Skull Tor]]. ## Stats Use `![[Lich]]` (spellcasting only) with these changes: - **Spirit Form.** Tashara has no body of her own; she is incorporeal and is forced out by *dispel evil and good*, *hallow*, or a successful exorcism rather than reduced to 0 hit points. - **Possession.** She rides a host — currently [[Nathaly Kormallis]]. While hosted, use the host's physical stats with Tashara's mind and spellcasting. Under strong emotional stress the host may contest control (DC 18 Charisma). - **Skull Magic.** The seven skulls that stacked her power are lost to [[Valindra Shadowmantle|Valindra]]'s claim; she fights diminished until she reclaims them. ### Notes Not a stand-up brawler — she's a possession problem. Beating her means freeing [[Nathaly Kormallis]] (exorcism or winning the control contest), not dropping hit points. Run the base `![[Lich]]` casting through whatever body she wears. %%
