# Annam
*God, Father of All Giants | Giant pantheon | Unknown*
## Summary
[[Annam]] the All-Father is the chief deity of the giant pantheon and creator of all giantkind. He established the Ordning, the rigid social hierarchy that has governed giant society for millennia, determining each giant's place based on their race and individual strength. [[Annam]] is a distant and stern father figure who expects his children to prove their worth through deeds of power and dominion. His disappointment in the giants' failures has led him to withdraw from the world, leaving his children to struggle without divine guidance. He is revered by all giant races, though each interprets his will differently.
[[Annam]]'s absence drives the central conflict as the Ordning has shattered, leaving giant society in chaos. Giant lords across the realm launch desperate campaigns to prove themselves worthy of their father's attention - [[Zalto]] seeks to rebuild the [[Vonindod]] to slay dragons, [[Storvald]] pursues the [[Ring of Winter]] for eternal dominion, and others pursue their own paths to glory. The [[Stewards of the Eternal Throne]], including Queen [[Neri]], believed that giants must embrace stewardship over domination to regain [[Annam]]'s favor, setting up a fundamental conflict about what the All-Father truly desires from his children.
