She appears as a powerful female dwarf with her hair intricately braided into four rows, wearing silver chain mail with gold accents. As [[Moradin]]'s wife and the matriarch of the dwarven pantheon, [[Berronar]] uses her keen negotiation skills and calm demeanor to keep the sometimes fractious dwarven gods unified. She is the defender and protector of the home—not a passive homebody—and serves as patron of marriage, love, and family. Her clerics, known as [[faenor]] ("those of the home"), serve as guardians and protectors of dwarven clans, maintaining records of lore, traditions, and family histories. [[Berronar]] has the unique ability to transform locks of her beard into gold, which she gives only to dwarven communities that are exceptionally poor or hard-pressed.
