She appears as a beautiful drow woman with silver hair, often dancing nude under moonlight with a silver sword. Her symbol is a sword-wielding, dancing drow female silhouetted against the full moon. She's worshipped by drow seeking redemption from [[Lolth]]'s evil, plus some surface elves who respect her efforts to heal the wounds between the races. [[Eilistraee]] teaches that drow can overcome their dark heritage through kindness, that music and dance celebrate life's beauty, and that moonlight can guide even the darkest souls toward redemption. In the [[Rage of Dragons]] campaign, [[Kalanthel Tanor'Thylan]] leads a drow enclave at the [[Goldenfields]] dedicated to her worship. This community faced suspicion from humans and elves, which the [[Blightmaidens]] exploited. When the hags used magically controlled drow warriors bearing [[Eilistraee]]'s markings to attack the [[Goldenfields]], it nearly sparked a war with the peaceful enclave. The heroes discovered that [[Eilistraee]]'s followers were innocent victims of the hags' scheme to create discord and weaken defenses before [[Bad Fruul]]'s assault.
