He values loyalty, courage in the face of overwhelming odds, and the willingness to sacrifice oneself for others. [[Helm]] never abandons his post and expects the same dedication from his followers. [[Helm]]'s influence appears through the [[Order of the Gilded Eye]], led by [[Javen Tarmikos]] as the Golden Watcher. The order uses the [[Gilded Eye]] artifact to judge the souls of others and root out corruption, though [[Javen Tarmikos]] has experienced a crisis of faith after his near-death encounter with [[Klauth]] showed him disturbing visions. The settlement of [[Helm's Hold]] was established in his honor as a fortified sanctuary, and it was there that [[Beregond]]'s fall to [[Beshaba]] occurred when he struck down [[Garaele]]. The order's rigid pursuit of absolute justice sometimes conflicts with mercy and understanding.
