![[moradin.jpg]] # Moradin *God, God of Creation, Smithing, and Protection | Morndinsamman | Erackinor* ## Summary **Moradin**, known as the Soul Forger, Dwarffather, and Creator, is the chief god of the dwarven pantheon. He forged the first dwarves from metals and gems, breathing souls into them when he cooled his creations. Moradin is a stern but fair father figure who governs smithing, metalworking, engineering, mining, and war. He's married to [[Berronar Truesilver]] and they share the divine realm [[Erackinor]] on [[Mount Celestia]]. When the party traveled to [[Erackinor]] seeking help against [[Tharizdun]], they found Moradin's realm filled with incredible stonework and tunnels. There was even a statue that looked like [[McMickey]], suggesting the dwarf has royal heritage. Moradin met with the heroes to discuss forging new chains capable of binding [[Tharizdun]], explaining that mortals would need to be the ones to actually chain the Chained God. He offered to craft additional items to help them in their quest against cosmic evil. During their visit, the party dined with Moradin and [[Berronar Truesilver]], where [[Reg]] entertained them with songs. Moradin also safeguards the [[Wand of Orcus]], which [[Reg]] entrusted to him after erasing his own memories of its location.
