He became the ancestor of all genie houses—djinn, efreet, dao, and marid all descended from him. When the gods gave the genies the [[City of Brass]], Sulymon faced the challenge of making it habitable by binding the fire primordial [[Maegera]] to power the city. This decision infused every street with elemental fire but came at the cost of Maegera's freedom. Trying to maintain peace among the genie houses, he made the fateful choice to name [[Iblis]] as the city's first ruler. Iblis's pride and hatred of divine authority led to the Great Purge, driving djinn and marid from the city and resulting in his exile by the gods. To fix this mistake, Sulymon later arranged the marriage between his daughter [[Cirrishade]] and the efreet [[Ashur Ban]], which brought about the Golden Age and the birth of the [[Hawanar]]. When Iblis returned wielding a scimitar forged from the [[Shard of Evil]], he murdered Cirrishade and imprisoned Ashur Ban—undoing everything Sulymon had worked to achieve. His current fate remains unknown, but his legacy continues to shape the City of Brass through both its power source and the ongoing struggle between tyranny and justice.
