# Zugmuk
_Hill Giant Wanderer | [[Yartar]] (Deceased)_
## Summary
A lovelorn hill giant who was convinced he shared a cosmic connection with [[Puggie]], a female giant in [[Bad Fruul]]'s Horde who never reciprocated his feelings. After her death, he wandered with his brother [[Gogmurt]], fancying himself a romance expert and dispensing terrible relationship advice.
He and Gogmurt joined [[Zaltimar]]'s assault on Yartar, part of the second wave still obsessing over "points" even as battle raged. Both brothers died in the siege—Zugmuk never learning that Puggie had been dead since Womford.

## At a Glance
Hulking hill giant with dirty hair adorned with wilting flowers. Clutched a crudely carved wooden figure of a female giant to his chest, occasionally whispering to it and sighing dramatically.
Spoke in a surprisingly soft, often quavering voice with what he believed were profound observations about love. Constantly related everything back to romance. Sentimental, gullible, prone to melancholic poetry.
## Personality
Never actually spoke to Puggie when she was alive—all his "memories" of their great love were fabricated. Collected heart-shaped objects and gifted them as "tokens of destiny." Saw romantic connections everywhere.
His genuine belief in love's power drove his misguided romantic crusade—cut short on the walls of Yartar.
## Quote
_"The heart of a giant is like a boulder—hard to move, but once it starts rolling, it crushes everything in its path with love!"_
